Bug with ejected player

I was playing a regular season game with the new 6.03 patch installed in which in the third inning the opposing starting pitcher threw and hit my LF. The LF charged the mound and both the pitcher and LF got tossed. There was 1 out at the time so I had to put in a runner to replace my ejected LF. I put in my reserve LF and at the same time in the substitution screen right clicked and put him in at LF on defense so that I wouldn't have to do it later. When I went back to the game screen the game had the opposing replacement pitcher running for me at 1st base. Pretty sure thats not supposed to happen. After we got out of the inning everything was back to normal and my lineup and rest of the game everything was correct.
