How to import the real players

I downloaded the lahman database but I always get a message error when I tried to create historical leagues can somebody help?

There are several detailed explanations on here of how to do this, if you do a search. A couple things to keep in mind:

Did you set the correct path for the database in OOTP?
Did you unzip the database in that path?

Without more information about what you're actually doing, it would be very hard to give you much help.

well I did unzip the file and in the historical league feature i seth the good path name to the folder in witch the lahman file is. I did try to download another version and i tried different years but it's just not working

You are either using the wrong version(it needs to be comma delimited and 5.1) or you are typing the path incorrectly as many, many, many people are using this w/o issue. Please check these areas again.

Thanks It worked for the database but now the game crashes when i tried to simulate. Dawn I'm getting tired of these bugs.

I have the same problem. Ive unziped, i have the right version i am going to the right file but it says Path not found or wrong version
