Rebuild Challenge - POTD Opening

Pioneers of the Diamond, a v6 fictional league wrapping up its 5th overall season, currently has one opening with that being the Michigan Erie. Currently, we have an $85 mil salary cap (though it might increase slightly as of next season) and a $25 million cash cap.

Now what about specifics for this phenomenal Erie franchise? In the 2007 season that just culminated, the Erie finished in last place in the Appy North division, posting a whopping 58-104 record (pyt. record of 51-111) while losing $20 million and maintaining a weak farm system. The playoffs for 2007 will be starting tomorrow night so there is still approx. a week and a half remaining to resign players that are unsigned beyond this season. After that is the optimal time to start rebuilding via FA period and the upcoming Ammy draft.

This is a team that won the Appy League Pennant in our first season (2003) and is itching to rekindle those glory days.

As someone who has played OOTP since OOTP4 was released, there is no other online league that has compared to POTD. This league is THE ultimate fictional league out there. At one time, there was quite a waiting list to get in POTD. I was sucked into this league like I've never been sucked into a league before. POTD has league races that always seem to come down to the wire. With the co-headed leadership of Mike and Jason, you won't find an online league that is run better than this one. Most of the owners in POTD know each other unlike any other online group of guys. A majority of the owners are in multiple leagues together and know how to compete and have a blast at the same time. Where else can you play the San Jose Cuervo, the St Paul Bearers, and the Amarillo Chicken Haulers in the same season? Enough said.

yeah im REALLY excited about Ozark this upcoming year, i know we wont win it all, but i dont see them in the cellar this year

Yeah...I feel the same way. Remember what i did in Classic? Watch out for the same thing this offseason. the jail break will be much better next season. Most of my Specs are ready after this season too.
