OOTP5 Real Roster League Looking for Owners

Howdy all...I'm here to report that my league, ABATT, or All Baseball All The Time, has a few openings.

We started using the 2003 rosters created by GForce, the TotalMinors set. From there, we have come to our 2006 league. Plagued by frequent down times from a free hosting provider, I finally took out the ol' card and got us some real, money costing hosting. The down times took away some of our members, and I'm looking to get them back.

You don't have to worry about any more downtimes, as the company I'm with posts a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Anyways, we are about half-way (June 16th) through the 2006 season. We have a few teams open, some of which are contenders and some of which, are definately not contenders. The league is active, and we do Live Sims every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each sim consisting of 7 days, until we get past the deadline when we switch to 10 days a sim. The draft is held in the off-season. We have brand new boards, so don't be afraid if it looks a little bare.

The following teams are available:

Kansas City Royals <--- Used to be Kansas City, currently #1 in AL Central

Our league can be found at ABATT , the standings page. We also have a Gazette, and our forums .

A few things our league can offer you:
1) A fun and exciting environment. Owners are always on AIM and willing to trade.
2) Player Photo packs (DD's + some of TigerFan's for the ones that aren't in DD's).
3) Our own forum, so we don't have to rely on an outside server for our forum.
4) BOSI, this way you can track your players development. I also plan on changing our front page to resemble our forums, using PHP.

We plan on converting to OOTP6 when it is fully ready and tested.

Now I require a few things from you!

To join you need the following things:

AIM...You must have AOL Instant Messenger, this is how our members communicate with each for trades (though sometimes by PM or e-mail). We also do our Live Sim, Live Draft, and anything else Live through AIM.

OOTP5 or OOTP6...Both would be AWESOME. But only one is required. If you don't have the current version we are using, then you can post your changes on the boards or e-mail me the changes.

EXPERIENCE...I'd like to have all veterans in this league, but, that's always hard to do. If you don't have some experience, but you have both the OOTP versions, contact me and maybe we can work something out.

ABATT is a great league with terrific owners. In the 1st 3 seasons there has been 3 different Champs, including the current reigning Champions, the TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS! All of the available teams have a ton of talent. Grab a team quick

Marlins- Were in the World Series just last season!
River Bandits(formerly Royals)- 1st in the AL Central!
White Sox- Have the MVP(Ross Gload) of just a season ago!
Cardinals- only 4 games under .500, with 2 top 10 NL hitters and a top 10 staff!
Expos- Only 2 games out of 1st with Manny and C. Patterson leading a top 10 offense!

Just thought I would stop by and say how much I enjoy this league. The GMs are all great, and are very active, and very friendly. The Commish is very active, and is a very dedicated Commish. The league is ran smoothly, and the Commish does a lot of Live Sims, which always helps with league activity. I would recommend this league to anyone.
