Question Generate Auto-Lineup problem?

Has anyone reported any problems with this feature for the minor league lineups? I did a search and could not find any. After simming a month of games, I stopped and saw that the lead-off hitters in both my AAA and AA lineups were injured so I placed them on the DL. I then hit the generate auto-lineups and they went blank. I finally ran the computer manager on the whole team and that populated the AAA lineup, but not the AA.

Strange

Strange indeed. Never seen or heard of that one before.

I have noticed that when you hit the minor league auto generate lineup button every now and again (doesn't happen often) it will clear the lineup instead of adjusting it. I think we are talking the same thing, maybe it doesn't think any of the players are ready for that level....lol. seriously, I have seen it but have no clue why it does it. It is strange but i don't find it a big deal since i always end up changing the lineup abnyway. I did have the same thing happen under V5, but not as often

I have heard of some problems arising when you don't have a player listed at a position (for instance, you may have 5 outfielders at A-ball, and they are all listed as LF or CF but not RF, despite the fact that they can play there). In these cases, I've heard that the lineup won't fill out.

By the way, the AI won't automatically take injured players out of the lineup, but it will replace the players in the minor league games if the injury is listed as "out" instead of "day to day."

Just so you know, there is no reason to put minor leaguers on the 15 DL. The only reason to put a minor leaguer on the DL is if he is on your 40 man roster. If he is on the 40 man and out for a significant period of time placing him on the 60 day DL takes him off the 40 man, thus opening up a spot.

funny, i thought this was a known issue so ive never said anything about it, but happens to me all the time. its just like DT states, multiple people at one position and none at others seems to confuse the AI.
