Movement between Squads!

This has got me really beat. I'm trying to move a player from Tripple A to my Active Roster, if I remember right, this is how it went. I moved him to my 40-Man Roster then tried to move him into the Active Roster, I couldn't do this till after he had been on Waivers. So I put him on Waivers, he cleared Waivers after 3 days but when I tried to then move him to the Active Roster, it told me I had to put him on Waivers again!

Another point I don't get about this Waivers stuff is why you have to put a player on Waivers when you're moving them between Rosters, therefore giving all the other teams a chance to claim him. This just happened with one of my Hot Prospects, and I lost him to another team. I thought there was a way I could get him back, but I can't see how, any one give me some advice/help with these points? Thanks in advance

Are you trying to move him from the 40 man box to the ML roster box? If so that's not how it is done. Move a player to the 40 man box only to put him on the 40 man roster. Then to move him to the bigs you move him from AAA or whatever level he is at to the ML roster box.

Move a player to the 40 man box only to put him on the 40 man roster. Then to move him to the bigs you move him from AAA or whatever level he is at to the ML roster box. Hope that helps.
