Missing fighter photos - Page 26

Here's a guy I made up based on a light heavyweight who fought in the Maritimes back in the 20s. Backstory: born in 1900 in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Ran away to sea at 15. Joined Canadian merchant navy and worked escort duty between Halifax and England until war's end. Took up boxing while in London, continued after the war, before returning home to Canada. Fought in Halifax, Montreal and Toronto as Sailor Burke. Ususally fought between 170 and 185. Fair defence, but relied more on toughness and terrific body punching, never shied away from rough stuff. Always in top shape ready to fight.

Here is a photo of Jimmy Thunder to go with Vistamans excellent new "Prime" ratings of him. It was taken during Jimmy's first ever pro fight in Melbourne, Australia against Niko Degai.

Found this in my old scrapbook. Not sure where it came from. Old newspaper clipping, I think. Supposedly Johnson.

Wow, Buddy, great find!

Johnson is doing well in my universe and in real life was said to be just a notch below Sam Langford in talent-not too shabby!
