Diamondbacks recieve reliver, to bring them back up
After a 2 and 5 start, manager, Matt Perly had decided to trade Catcher Bobby Estalla. Bobby Estalla played 2 games, before they brought up AAA Craig Ansman who is batting .294. Estalla hit under .100, and was currently playing back up catcher. Brent Mayne has been brought up to back up Ansman.

The Dbacks aquire RP,Erasmo Ramirez (AGE:27) who was 1-0, with a 1.50 era. In 6 innings pitched, he has 6 k's. He has a whip of 1.17. He is excited about become a diamondback, and hopes to lead the diamondbacks reliever to their winning ways!.

I really like this trade. Texas needed a catcher desparately, and Estalela should help them. We were in desperate need being in last place, with 4 games blown in the last innings. Erasmo, has to help turn things around....

Erasmo Ramirez, the newest Diamondback!

I don't know about getting a pitcher from the Rangers.

But, then again, I signed Jason Bere, Todd Jones, and Scott Erickson for my dynasty with the Rockies. That is because there GB% was over 50%. Erickson has the best of the 3 at 61%. They will be at Colorado Springs (AAA) until they show that they can pitch in the high altitude.

Dbacks get support in 9th to win

A tie game in the 9th, the Dbacks scored 4 runs to give them the W. The final score was 11-7. Ansman and Sexson hit HR'S, and Cintron had a triple. A lot of RBI'S. Finley and Ansman had two. Hillenbrand got his 5th double of the season. Lo-Go went 1-5, and his avg. drops to .281.

Elmer Dessens was questionable whether to start the game or not. Elmer came in with a 2.30 era, and left the game with a 6.35 era. In 3.2 innings he was taken out after 6 runs and 7 hits. E. Ramirez came in right after and set things on the right path, pitching 1.1 innings, letting up 1 hit and 2 K's. Five more pitchers came in, and Koplove got the Win. In 6.1 innings, my bullpen let up 1 run. Amazing!!

Game ball goes to Craig Ansman!

Dessens first pitch.....it all went downhill from there

Fossum + Hillenbrand= Another win

Casey Fossum put in a great 8 innings, letting up only 2 runs. He had 5 K's and allowed 8 hits. Again, Ramirez came in, this time he was unable to get one out. Kit Pellow would hit a HR against hit, and he would be taken out. Mantie would come in and close the game and get his 2nd save of the season.

Shea Hillenbrand, hit 2 HR's this game, and had four rbis. Finley went 3-5 with a HR

Game balls go to Hillenbrand!

Notes: We are tied for 3rd, and are 2 games out of first place Padres (6-3). Finley has got a hit every game so far, and has a league high- 9 game hitting streak, along with a lot of other players.

Hillenbrand slamming one over the fence!

Diamondbacks get rid of Dessens
The GM patience ran dry, when Elmer Dessens let up 6 runs in 3.1 innings last outing. " His money was not worth it, 4 million dollars is too much for a player like that" The Diamondbacks trade SP Elmer Dessens, and catcher Robby Hammock for Pirates J.J Hammock, a quality RF prospect. J.J davis will be going to the Major League Line-up immediately, for now until Bautista recovers from his injury. Doctors say 5 days now!

Another trade for the Diamondbacks...

Diamondbacks look to replace Elmer Dessens spot in the rotation with Aaron Small. The 32 year old is 1-1 on Florida with a 2.08 era. He is signed with a 300,000 contract, and will be a FA after this season.

We traded away backup 1st base, Greg Colbrunn, who wasn't getting any action, backing up Richie Sexson. Colbrunn made 1,750,000 this season, and will also be an FA after the season. We also trade catcher Alan Zinter.

DBacks bullpen back to old ways..

The score was 3-2 Padres, after the 5th inning. Then, Webb came out and 3 relivers let up 4 runs. Nance had 2 earned of those. For the Padres, Oxspring let up 2 runs in 7 innings and will get the win. Webb will get the loss

Ansman went 2-4 to raise his average to .300. Hillenbrand and P: Webb got the only other hits. Webb had the only two rbi's for our team.

Player of the game goes to Giles( 3-4), with a HR, two doubles, and two rbi's.

Yeah...he was player of the game

D'backs sign Veteran Pitcher
The Diamondbacks today, signed veteran pitcher Andy Ashby to a minor league contract. He was immediately put in the rotation was man number five. Casey Daigle was sent down, and coach just plainly said "We want him to develop into a great pitcher, and he needs to start in AAA first.

Does Ashby have anything left in him..

Dbacks support in 8th,9th give them the win!

Randy pitched 8 innings, and let up a mere 3 runs. He allowed 7 hits, and struck out five. Mantei came in the ninth, and had 2 K's and did not let anyone on base. He got his 3rd save of the season. Randy improved his record to 2-0. Eaton pitched 7.2 innings before Jay Witasick came in. Witasick pitched 1 pitch, and Lo-go crushed it for a HR, to give the Diamondbacks the lead. Witasick got the loss.

Finley went 2-3. Alomar hit a HR. Ansman went 3-4 with a rbi. Lo-go went 2-4, with 2 rbis, and a HR, and player of the game honors. Sadler, stole his 6th base. Ansman hit a triple, and 2 doubles.

Diamondbacks win 5-3

Aaron Small(1-1, 2.08)vs David Wells (0-1, 6.94)
Final game of series...

Aaron Small gets a W with his first start..

Small pitched 7 innings and had 2 earned runs. He walked 6 and struck out 2. He allowed five hits. Wells also allowed 2 runs in 7 innings.

Cintron won player of the game, he went 4-4 with a rbi, and a sb. Kata hit a 2 run shot.
Diamondbacks win 6-3
The prospect we recently aquired, J.J Davis, came in the 8th pinch hitting. He struck out, and argued with the ump until he was ejected
Diamondbacks are now .500 and are a game out of first. S.D and S.F are ahead of them.

Dbacks, too little too late

The Diamondbacks scored 3 in the 7th inning, but it was not enough to put them ahead of the Brewers.

Fossum was taken out after 5 innings, and letting up 5 runs. Hillenbrand had 3 rbis.
Final score was 6-5 Brewers. R. Choate got the lost.
