Attention all roster makers
Tonight my wife gave me a copy of "The Neyer/James Guide to Pitchers," by Bill James and Rob Neyer (2004, ISBN 0-7432-6158-5, $16.95). Why is this important? Because has 332 pages of pitcher data like this in it:
"Matt Young, 6'3" 205-pound lefty, 55-95, 4.40, 25 saves, 1983-1993, Pitch Selection: 1. Fastball 2. Slider 3. Curve" Yes, that's right - it lists the pitches that each pitcher threw. Think about that - we can make some killer rosters with that data! I'm going to update the Malleus-Gambo-et all 1964 rosters with this data. You might want to get a copy and fix yours up as well.

im leaning towards the eating of it, but if it was big enough....well then id say he was ON the cupcake
back OT, i have a book like this that i used a while ago but we moved in March so i have lost it. I know it wasnt written by Bill James but i am going to order it on amazon for 11.98 when i get home

I know that there is another book with good info and i WISH i had it and knew the name, but it was 30 bucks when i bought it 3-4 years ago.....i think James did that one to

Thanks, I once picked that book up, looked at it, noticed the pitch selections, put it back down, marched on, and have been trying to refind it ever since!
