.... and here all this time I mistakenly thought Steve Kuffrey was the senior member of the board. Silly me.

He's the Admin. Buy a clue.

I won't forgive you, and what he didn't know was how we felt about them - or just how serious and significant the disatisfaction was.

I'm appalled that you people won't even behave decently when the subject is serious and you've been asked - repeatedly - to be civilized in just *one* thread. But even that is just too much for you; you have to behave badly everywhere.

But so many of you failed to honor a simple, polite request to leave all the crap out of a serious thread on a critical issue, that I am ashamed of and for many of you. This wasn't an ordinary thread, and it shouldn't have been subject to grade-school-level badinage.

Practicing what you preach is also well advised.

Read the thread; despite being provoked - probably deliberately, just as you are now deliberately trying to provoke me into yet another flamewar - I have held my temper in this thread.

Do you guys really have to try to provoke every single thread into a flamewar?

No offense to everyone, but I like these forums a lot and hope to continue to use them. However, I have no idea why they keep them open. Public trashings are not normally a good idea for any company. It is really only a few people who want to feel more important then they really are. OOTP should do itself a favor and limit discussions on the boards to leagues and game strategies - let all else email themselves into oblivion.

It's like an echo for those who don't listen the first time.....

Sorry, did I say It's like an echo for those who don't listen the first time?

Repetition sure doesn't seem to effect those who love to gripe...they just keep mentioning the same stuff

over, and over, and over again.....

Oh, did I say it's like an echo for those who don't listen....

Come on the entire thread is self promoting. You'd already posted the exact same letter in another thread started by Eckstein for President. Even when that thread was still open you felt the need to reopen your own one----eventhrough they dealt with the exact same topic.

As for the Senior Member of the board crap I would had thought that time away would have disqualified you; silly me I guess.

I think Mal posted it again because the previous one was a casualty of a flame war

Warrior, It has been my experience in other boards (with the exception of the Trainz boards) that these trashings are a given and happen everywhere. This is what happens when you have so many different personalities and so many different ideas and all it takes is a few intolerant people to throw the balance off. People get what they want out of this board. They get help if they need it, add-ons if they want to spice up the game, or grief from people who have a chip on their shoulder. The latter is sad and I think it will only get worse until another patch comes out and we can start talking about the nuances of the game again.

Seriously d00ds, Mal has acted like this since he's been here. It's no use trying to reform him.
