Ok...I hit the ticket price button and the price went up. Is there a way to lower it?? Thanks.

general guidelines for ticket prices that will let you attain maximum attendance while still being profitable?

I have an 80 fan interest and the tickets were at $10 - I moved to 11, and immediately saw a decrease in attendance, therefore moved it back down. Could that have just been a coincidence? Or does it usually hurt to raise prices in-season?

In my first season, I had it as high as $13 and my fan interest was up in the low 80's. I made a lot of money per game compared to the previous season's report. But I had to lower it because the fan interest dropped in the beginning of the second season. A slow start didn't help (1-6) and my second home game had an attendance of only 14,000. I dropped the price to 8 and it went up to 33,000 the next game.

Remember though, even though the attendance lowered some, that doesn't mean you didn't make more money.

If you had 40,000 before, and attendance dropped to 37,000 after moving to 11, then at 35,000 you made $407,000 comapred to $400,000 before. So while you lost 3000 in attendance, you still made an extra $7000.

You might consider that before deciding to lower it back as well.
