OOTP6 suddenly no longer opens

Hi I had no problems up until today,I get a messaage stating OOTP6 has caused an unknown error OOTP6 will now close. First I ran virus scan,registry scan, and spyware scan all looked fine.Then I uninstalled OOTP6 and reinstalled and tried again got the same message.

Specs ME 2.8 p4 80gb hd (30gb free) 512ram

Anybody ever run into this, or have a possible solution?

still no luck it wont even let me uninstall my license grrrrrr

In XP: Control Panel>Admin Tools>Services. Make sure CtrLic is enabled.

Ok I have 2 License Control Folders one from last year and this years. It crashes if I try to uninstall from those folders if I want to do a total uninstall. I have contacted viatech yesterday and still no answer back from them.

Give Viatech a little time to catch up from the Holiday weekend. I usually get a response within a couple of days.

Steve told you also kingpin to make sure the CtrLic is enabled, is it? That could give us some idea, and a place to start.

yes all my ctrlic are active right now I'm in dll hell,I went through the entire install log for ootp6 and I seem to be missing Runser~1.exe I have no idea if that is the part viatech throws into the program but all my viatech protected programs do not run ootp4 ootp5 ootp6 tpf and tpb.

I'm kinda like you. I get a visual basic error and shutdown. OOTP 5 doesn't work either. However Title Bout does and its Viatech also. I don't find CtrLic where you said it was TC.

I just got a patch from viatech and it didnt do a damn thing no read me or nothing with it. I clicked it it did nothing for me. There is nothing else wrong with my cpu but these games.

Feel your pain. Everything else works for me too, including Title Bout and TDCB. Nothing OOTP works.

Can you tell if the game is licensed? By checking either the control panel or right-clicking on the game icon.

yeah steve they are all showing as licensed i even have the option at bottom to unlicense but when I click it it causes it to close or lock up.
