right hand third of the screen is blank

got the game downloaded , but there is no print on the right third of the screen. something to do with fonts? the buttons are still there but there is no information or writing on those buttons? any ideas?

Go to start then run and type dxdiag and hit enter. The direct X utility will open and it will let you know what version of direct X you are have installed. If it is less than v9 go to http://www.microsoft.com download and install v9, reboot your computer and then try the game again.

You also need to run the game in 1024x768 screen resolution.

download the 9.0 but it didnt work...said it was not compatiable with windows xp?

any other ideas?

It works w/ my XP did you d/l the correct version? Update your video drivers.
