running a solo league and it stalls at the end of every day and then spits out a bogous error message about an email sent to a manager. I don't have any human managers, so there shoudl not be any emails sent out. I would like to know do I go back to 6.0 or what???

Yeah it is incredibly slow now. Proceeding to next week takes alot longer than it used to.

and (it seems) like every year it gets slower....with no noticable changes in rosters.

Note:
In the first year of a career (with just about everything turned off except minors & coaches) starting with 1919, there was a total of 5 computer generated trades, and 2 trade offers to the human player. The second year, 7 computer trades, 1 offer to human. Year 3, 5 computer trades, none offered to human.

All I've noticed is that, starting with this patch, the game suddenly takes a really long time between days when simming. I keep switching back to 6.01 if I want to do a long sim in a league.

Dont know if this has been mentioned in here yet but as of 6.02a I cant move my starting pitchers about

And dam is it slow ... 2.8 laptop

Question: If I bought the game online after this patch was released, will it be incorporate dinto my game, or do I have to download it?

Should be the latest version. To check, when the game first opens look for the version number (in tiny, pale type) in the far upper left of the opening screen.
