Never said they has to stay with the team forever. But how many times do we seea player leave a team just because they aren't that good at that point in time? ALOT! I'm a big fan of team loyalty, and in the past 10 years, it's gone right out the window.

I guess you youngsters wouldn't know about the NBA 1-, 15 and 20 Years ago, but it was a totally different. That was the NBA's prime, the 80's. It's gone so far down hill that i dont even watch the NBA 1/4 as much as i did 10 years ago.

Youngsters i like that word...

I have to disagree with you in one point: a player who changes teams one time in his career it´s not a disloyal player.

I don't really see how this trade would help the Rockets. Both players shoot way too much at a low percentage, and the Rockets would still need a point guard. Most likely, McGrady will want to play a faster game (as opposed to Yao/VanGundy's preferred half-court set).

I don´t see it as a possible trade for the Rockets or the Magic. It seems like a rumor nothing more... But i see Francis in other uniform next season. If the Rockets can arrange a good trade they will do it.

of the major players that have changed teams, most of them were traded. thats disloyal managment, not the players. the ones that left as FA's were tmac who left and then became big and shaq(dont remember what the situation was with him).

francis has already talked his way out of 1 team and about to get himself dealt away from his second because he didn't like the situation.

I don't know where you are getting that, but Francis hasn't asked to leave/be traded at all. The problem is he doesn't fit in with the team's new direction (Yao) all that well. He's tried working on his game, but it hasn't been too successful thus far. I'd like to see him stay in Houston this year to see if he can finally adapt, but if not, he'll probably be out of here.

The Timberwolves will send to Orlando:
Sprewell, Olowokandi, and Ndubi Ebi

Orland can send us:
McGrady and Howard.

Deal?

I really dont think he will get that chance. I suspect he will be traded away before the season begins.

the first time he requested a deal was when he was originally drafted by the grizzlies(during their vancouver days) and basically told them to go to hell, that he wasn't playing for them. now he's shown up van gundy on the court as well as not told him numerous times when he would be missing practices(such as rather than practicing with the team he was at the super bowl, only he forget to mention it to anyone in the organization)

McGrady rattled off some trade scenarios for the No. 1 pick, and most included shot-blocking defenders. Blocking shots and defending are Okafor's strengths, but McGrady wonders if Okafor can have a major impact, given he'll be a rookie and wants to play power forward.

"That would take, like, a big man who gets 15 [points] and 10 [rebounds] every night and blocks shots . . . to have a defensive stopper on the wing, a solid point guard and a guy who can knock down open jump shots to prevent the double-teams," he said.

Sounds an awful lot like the only thing Orlando has the power to do to make T-Mac happy is draft Okafor. I think the guy needs a dose of reality whipped into his head. Does he really Orlando can trade the #1 pick for a quality point guard, top notch defender in the post, a great jump-shooter, and great defender on the wing? T-Mac must really want to go to LA because he clearly lives in La-La land.

I wonder what McGrady is talking about.

Juwan Howard averaged 17 ppg and 7 rpg. Yea the 7 isn't exactly 10, but it's damn close for a guy that plays 35 minutes a game.

What McGrady seems to not understand is that his team used all their effort on offense, but didn't give a damn on defense.

Others have said and I'll say it now...Tracy plays defense as if he's thinking about his next offensive move. 101 ppg against? Not gonna win you games T.

7 rpg is a long way off from 10 rpg. 7 rpg is actually pretty awful for a power forward.

As for the, um, Minnesota trade speculation, what the f? Do you *really* think Orlando's going to take an aging 2 guard, a piece of crap center, and a complete unknown in exchange for T-Mac and Juwan Howard? You sound like the Sonics fans around here who want to sign and trade Brent Barry and Jerome James for Kobe Bryant.

Yeah, and the players happily gave themselves salary caps.

Hard to collect rebounds when the team is playing piss-poor defense.

Joe Johnson was drafted by celtics and traded to phoenix his rookie year. The trade speculation for t-mac was marion, johnson, voskuhl and a first round pick for t-mac. Now i think myself that is too much, but if Phoenix could keep their first rounder then i would do the trade because the suns are looking at drafting Jameer Nelson who would fit nicely at the pg position.

I have a feeling that if T-Mac goes anywhere it will be Memphis. That is where his best friend plays.
