Single A auto lineup

I went to generate an auto lineup for my single A team and "nothing". The guys that were in the lineup disapeared. And it would not generate it. This is only single A and only for minor league lineups. I am not using any 3rd party progam.

Has this happened to anyone else? I had to manually do my single A lineup.

6.02a patch

It doesn't effect all teams.

Some additional insight on this, sent to me by Bill Abner:

Update:

We banged our heads against the wall and noticed something in common with all of the teams affected. They didn't have all positions filled. One team didn't have a catcher (we're in the off season). So if the team doesn't have all positions filled on their roster, the auto depth chart doesn't work for
*any* position. It leaves them all blank. Once the catcher was signed, all was well. Hope that clears it up a bit.

Bill

Thanks for the help Bill.

Thank you Steve for posting this info for people to use in the meantime to workaround if they want. Based on how quickly he turned around 6.02a after 6.02, maybe it also means when Markus can get to it, this problem won't require a whole lot of time to solve. :fingers crossed:

So, let me get this straight. All this is is cosmetic, right? It forces you to just assign the Single-A roster manually. Ive had the same problem, and I really have no problem assigning the positions myself.

Where I am going with that is, it doesnt affect anything past that, right? Along the lines of development....

It simply doesn't do an autolineup.

Just adding that major league depth charts suffer from the same problem if the roster is short a player for a position. Oddly though, some utility spots are filled in spite of there being no starters.

So....what if you hit generate auto-lineup and it takes everyone off? I try and hit it again and nothing. I try and add everyone in manually and then take them off, and nothing. If you can take all the players off the lineup and hit generate auto lineup and have it work, shouldn't what I did have worked? This is getting really frustrating.
