Commishes, Help

I've got a really unique idea for a league in my head, which no one else has done or probably has thought of doing, so since it is so original I am really considering starting an OOTP league.

My question is, commishes, how much time a day does it usually take to do league stuff?

depends. I spend 4 hours or so on mine... of course I'm obsessive, and you don't NEED to spend that long.

depends

really depends on how much you want to do.
I usually spend 2-3 hours. Then that is only 3X a week.

Once you have the league going and have delegated some authority to other owners, your part becomes easier.

For instance,
I have AL and NL commish to handle trades,
I have a League Reporter
one person takes care of the owner votes all stars and awards.
another takes care of special stats.
Now one will take care of uploading web pages(cause If I did it would take 4 hours of upload time due to my bad connection.

So now I basically just process a few things

It is all in what you make it.

And a good side-benefit to delegating is that having more people involved in the day-to-day running of a league generally leads to a better league overall both because the other owners tend to stay a lot more active and because you don't get overwhelmed.

I spend about 30 minutes a day on non-sim days and about 1.25 hours on sim days.

I sim 5 times a week and usually spend between 1-2 hours updating the pages and uploading the sim, but I'm always on the computer and tweaking pages so I'd give it about 6 hours a day for me for the league and about 4 hours on teaching myself J-Script & VB...

But that's just me and I am not working during this summer...That will be cut back in the Fall when I go to back to college however.

I could write HTML all day anyway, I love it...

I have one anal owner (no offense Elliot if you read this) who's never played OOTP before but asks me lots and lots of questions. Image of my inbox from last night is attached.
