Who would you start an NBA franchise with

Of these players(or someone else if you think he deserves it but I didn't mention him) who would you start an NBA franchise with if you could have any player?

It's really a tough choice. I would love to have Shaq, but he is getting old. So Garnett is the obvious choice, he can do everything in the court and although he is a superstar he seems like an anti-star to me.

I think that i would start with Tim Duncan. Not taking anything away from Garnett. It's a toss up really

My vote goes to Yao.

Shaq is certainly the guy I'd want right now, and there's no doubt that there isn't another player in the world like Garnett. But in terms of "building a franchise" I've gotta go with the guy who's just 23 and will be the dominant post player of his generation.
