Cato problem with Gold Glove awards

I left the gold glove award named with the default award name (whatever it was) that appears when you create a new league. After simming 19 years and importing each year into Cato, I've noticed that several times it has the RF position empty. A few times it had the CFer position empty and once or twice it had the SS position empty. I looked in the history and found that an award was given for the position, so I'm wondering why sometimes it may have missed it.

I noticed that too. My first year, it was empty.

I just figure they all sucked that year

For me I'll have all positions filled for the season except for one. Three straight years it skipped the RFer but imported the others. Then a couple of years might go by fine and then the SS or CF might be missing. I'll post an example tonight....

I saw this twice. Once it left out a player with a space in their last name (de los Santos) and once with an apostrophe (O'Neill). So I stopped fixing things like that in OOTP, and CatoBase hasn't missed an award in 27 years.

Send me the data files for the year that misses a player and I'll see what's happening. Parsing the text files is the least reliable part of this.
