Who should I draft?

In my first year of play with the Blue Jays (real players) I haev a draft question. In the second round I am trying to decide between two relief pitchers. Please tell me which you would take.

Wayne Kang(L) - Age 18 - 34% groundball rating, injury prone, Normal clutch rating, very inconsistent. His ratings on a scale of 10 are 2-5-4, with a potential of 6-9-8.

Kieth Boney(R) - Age 21 - 69% groundball rating, durable, great clutch rating, fairly consistent. His ratings are 2-6-7, with a potential of 5-8-8.

This is hard to choose because each has many things going for them. Kang is younger, a lefty, and has higher potential rating. He is also rated a half star higher. Boney has better ratings now however. Also, he is superior in many intangible ratings. They both had similar stats in college/high school. Kang played against very tough high school competetion, while Boney played against fair college competetion.

Who would you pick, the more proven college player or the potentially better high school player?

I would take Boney b/c of his much higher groundball rating.

If Kang were either inconsistent OR injury prone, I'd probably gamble on him, but with his being BOTH, and the low ground ball rating, I'd proably take the safer pick in Boney.

And therefore gananteeing Kang a spot in the HOF in 20 years.

So groundball % is no longer a cosmetic rating?

I think I will take Boney, he could probably play a lot sooner which will help as well.

Whats Velocity.

Assuming equal velocity Boney for GB% and the fact he may be ready to pitch THIS year (he wouldn't be great, but COULD).

BUT if Boney is 88-91 while Kang is 95-99 gotta go with Kang.

Dola-GB% has always effected the # of groundballs, its especially useful for RP who may come in with guys on baes.

Also duration should play a factor and even holding runners to a lesser extent, Id need those 3 ratings (velocity as I put before) to make a more informed position
