Interested in a new league, starting in '77?

If you are an enthusiastic Owner who would like to join the newest league out there "Retro Baseball League" starting up in the 1977 season, using real players and real teams. Then send me an email with a brief background about yourself and why should you be an owner in this league. The start date hasn't been finalized yet, as it is still under construction.

Royals it is, and there are plenty of great teams available for you baseball diehards who want to start off in the late 70's. Check us out. The site that is up is still under construction.

It is good to look back at the thread that started it all on June 3rd, 2002. We began in 77' and are now in the 1993 season! We still have seven original GM's and about 5-6 GMs who started between years 78-83.

The league continues to stay strong and we begin our first expansion adding the Carolina Dragons and Las Vegas Gamblers into the mix. One team moved during the leagues existance, when Milwaukee Brewers moved to New Orleans to become the VooDoo in 1991.

Some league notables - Frank Tanana and his career leading 334 wins, record setting 60 HRs by Cards OF Eric Davis, and our 19 Hall Of Famers.

Thanks to all who have been with the league, passed through the league and to all who check into the happenings of the league!

Thought I would resurrect this original post, which was our first call for GMs back in June 2002. The league is entering it's 40th season and has been one of the most active leagues I have ever been a part of. 7 1/2 years later it still lives on and sims are done on time and trading is always active. Thank you to all of the GMs that have been and are still part of the rich history of this wonderful league!

It is and will always be a 6.5 league

I love this league. Joined prolly 6 or 7 seasons ago and it has quickly become one of my favorites.
