Greatest start ever
I started a new league and did a draft. I decided to go for the top young prospects. My team started out 0-39. Then I finally won a game and then lost 2 more. When I got my first win my winning percentage was .024. I would have kept it going but the game closed for some reason. Probably because my team sucked so bad. Just thought I'd put this in here with all these other great league outcomes.

Finished the season
I finished the great season and ended up with 17 wins. It gave me a score of 0. I know it was bad but was it that bad? Has anyone else had this bad of a season?

No. I don't think any team has ever gone 17-145 in a single season. That's a .105 winning percentage. They should probably fire the manager. I know you said you drafted top prospect, but the Devil Rays are only a AAA team and they've never even been as bad as 17-145. |

The worse team in the history of mankind was the infamous Cleveland Spiders of 1899, who went 20-134 (.130%). They did this after their owners, who also owned the St. Louis Perfectos (soon to be Cardinals), transfered all the average or better players from Cleveland to St. Louis. The worse team since is (obviously) the '62 Mets. Although one could make an argument for the 1916 Athletics (36-117), and the 1938-1942 Philadelphia Phillies, who lost at least 100 games for five straight seasons.
