Online League GM local to team...

I think it would be pretty cool if we could get an online league going using real 2004 rosters where each team GM was local to the actual team.

Anyone else would be interested in this?

Actually i know 3 or 4 guys that are from montreal and prefert to run them... not a bad idea...

I doubt you'd get 30 guys that are REALLY from actual major league cities meaning some people will try and lie just to get a team.

he means to be a GM in the league you have to be from the city of the team you are managing. Example: I am from Massachusetts so the only team I could be is Boston.

Well here's a question...I live in Maine(which is part of the RedSox Nation) but doesn't have a home town team(wish there was, but maine sucks)...Would i not be able to run the redsox? Just wondering how this all plays out...

Of course not. If you think that only 12 people go to games, you would think even less owns the game IMO. Of course, I could be wrong.
