Free Agent Money Dissapearing... HELP!
In my online league, one of the teams had 5.5 million dollars left during free agency. It says it on the site, and I remember him having 20 million the night before, and he spent roughly 14.5.
So, the site is correct, however, the lg file shows him as having 0 dollars available. Can anyone help us out any explain why that is? He didn't make any trades, and didn't promote anyone. So why's the 5.5 million dissapearing between the site and the league file???? |

My guess is contracts for the season about to be played have eaten the amount you are talking about.

I don't understand what ya mean. We're still in the middle of free agency, and he had 20 million, and only spent 15. So why does the extra 5 get "eaten up" suddenly? And it's still showing as being there on the website... just not the lg file, which is obviously the one it really needs to show on.

Does he have any outstanding offers to other FA? If so, this will also be subtracted from his money available even if he hasn't signed them yet.

nope... sorry, forgot to mention that. He's not leading on anyone else, so the money isn't gone there.

The data in the file and the HTML I generated using that file support the 0 cash to spend total, assuming it's the Astros. Might want to check the date on the HTML on the site.
