Rosters

Hello,

I'm seriously considering purchasing OOTP 6. My question is this: I know in the past people like GeForce and Rolen have made excellent rosters that have included the Majors and all AAA, AA, and Single-A players for every team.

Is there anything like that this year? Is anyone working on a roster set like that?

Thanks for the help.

-Nick

there are 2 of them that I know of. CBL and another one.

My appologies to the guy that made the other one. Sorry dude.

They are both good solid rosters and both deserve a lot of credit.

If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

Thanks. I saw that thread, but wasn't sure if those rosters included Minor leagues as well.

Another question:

Are there any known issues/complaints with these rosters?

well about three people TOTAL have complained about the "lack of real jersey numbers & birthplaces" in my set.

You can spend the 10-15 minutes it might take to fulfill your jersey and birthplace bliss of your favorite team if you choose. Take a few hours if you want to change all the teams.

Some are just never happy, so its nothing new.

A majority are happy with it, and I'm having a blast playing a solo league so all is good in the world.

My main concern (voiced elsewhere) with CBL's rosters is that a lot of AAAA players are seriously undervalued (which, sadly, are my main interest). That said, it's a quality roster in many ways and that failing is not an unusual one.
(Don't take it personally, CBL - if I ever meet you, I'll buy you a free beer...)

i echo what CBL said.....i have had small complaints if you call it that about the coaches not being there and some players being "not what i think they should be" but as he said, it is a solo roster and they can be tinkered with in less then no time......

by the way....i will offer beer with my set provided CBL does as well!

Well as long as any set has Ross Gload, it should suffice the masses

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Great rosters, CBL! The jersey numbers don't bother me.

Purchased the game yesterday and lovin it. I think I like the OOTP 5 skin better, but oh well. I'll get used to it.

5-1 with my Tigers so far (no major roster changes)!!!
