why does it have to be in the create folder?

can it be done by making a folder and put .lg at end and extracted it in there?

thanks

Ok, so why when I installed this the first time it gave me an error and I had to uninstall the whole game and the second time I installed the roster set nothing works on it? I put in the create folder both times.

if you put it in the create folder, every time you "create" a league, these will be the default rosters. I'd put it in a folder that ends in ".lg". Name it whatever you want.

DJ's rosters look an awful lot like CBL.

Not trying to doubt you here, but some examples of this would help. If you have examples of mistakes made in one roster set that are also in another, there's a strong hint that something's up. I don't know if there is in these rosters.

As for them looking similar... they're supposed to mimic the same thing, so of course they're similar. That's why similar mistakes in both sets are such a huge clue as to any kind of impropriety.

I don't care one way or the other, but i did d'load both, i wanted to transfer DJ's more "accurate" fan ratings. I found them to be the same.

dj, you've outdone yourself once again. i am amazed at the incredible ease with with anyone outside a 5 mile radius of your house can actually download this roster set. i mean if i could actually get the 'save' dialog box up, it'd only take a month or so for the data to transfer. it'd almost be faster to have a banana write down all the 1s and 0s.

seriously though, i'm on a t-10 and can't even get one byte of this set. maybe you should distribute the roster sets so you can get some mirrors up. i'd really like to get my hands on these rosters, but there's no way i can from your site.

Guys-

Im sure I missed some prospects here and there (from CBL 2.0 OR CBL 1.3), but find it VERY hard to beleive another set has "a bunch of prospects" in addition to my set.

I added nearly 1,000 prospects to the set; EVERY player listed in the Baseball Prospect Book 2004 by John Sickels.

Like I originally stated CBL's set is geared more for SOLO leagues I took his set made many adjustments and made it more on-line league friendly....I also have closed the download site as too many complaints if you'd like a copy of the rosters please email me. I also tried to get it more up to date. I am closing the download site because of complaints on how slow it is. I totally gave CBL and Halo Fan (Got some good ideas from his set) credit in the read me. My ratings are different on many players. Was just trying to help our beloved OOTP community can't believe all the static I have gotten.
