OOTP5 to OOTP6 Confusion: Will be a free agent or arbitration?

I play in an online league which has just upgraded to OOTP6 after spring training, prior to the start of a season.

It's important to note that this league created several players last season to help stock expansion teams.

Last year, in Free Agency, I signed some of these players. They were treated as rookies, but were signed to actual $ contracts for 1 or 2 years each.

In OOTP5, when their "contracts" expired, they underwent arbitration because they were under 5 years of experience.

In OOTP6, the salary page is showing them as free agents after the season:

The players are J.Rodriguez, G.Mendez, P.Torres, B.Shead, and B.Horgan.

However, the leaguewide "Possible Free Agents" page does not list these guys as free agents. (My team is Minneapolis Lumberjacks half-way down)

It's likely that this is a small bug in one place or the other, but I am wondering which place. I assume that the contract/arbitration would be handled the same way in OOTP6?

And it's an online league, so I can't sim ahead and check, and haven't bothered the commish to do this (yet...)
