Idiot here----can't figure out how to import these properly.
Do I create a new folder and name it something.lg? Do I extract these rosters into an existing folder? So far, everything I have tried has not worked.

Bump this back up to the top so it may cut down on the posts asking where to find these rosters.

For next CBL release....
Jolbert Cabrera is on Seattle roster, but so is Ketchner and Bott (both SP's, Bott is listed as MR). Actually, Cabrera was traded for Ketchner and Looper, but Looper was traded back for Bott, in case you want to list it correctly in the Players' Histories. Andrew Brown in the Dodgers' minor leagues is also a SP. Also, I noticed alot of 1 blue-star players on major league rosters with horrible ratings. For a bit of realism, can we get these players' rating upped a bit. Right now, some of these guys won't even perform in AAA. Also, I noted the same thing with Halofan's set, that there are so many 5/5 speed/steals players, that it really takes away from the abilities of guys like Ichiro, Pierre, etc. Also, in my test simulations, there are so many 60+ steals guys, which is completely out of the ordinary. Good job with putting Josh Hamilton of TB on DL for his drug suspension. This is the first roster set in which he is suspended for the season. Maybe you could make Mo Vaughn sustain a career ender.

Godhan,
Feel free to update your copy of CBL 2.0 as you see fit; I have NO plans to update this version. Its designed for Opening Day, and after spending over 3 months on the project, I beleive its at a point I and others can actually enjoy using it. Glenn Bott, per The Baseball Prospect Book 2004, has seen action as a starter and reliever. In 3 minor league seasons, hes started 44 games, and appeared in 82. Ryan Ketchner is another lefty who has seen action starting, and in the bullpen. In 4 minor league seasons, Ketchner has started 41 games and appeared in 92 total. You can tone stealing down to "seldom" or "Not often"; again as you see fit. |

How do I activate the roster update once it's in my OOTP6 folder? I did everything in the instructions above, but the update is still not working. Thanks for any help, I'm new with this stuff.

I followed the instructions step-by-step, and the CBLv2.0.lg is now in my OOTP6 folder. But when I start my game, I still have my default rosters. Is there something I have to do to activate these new rosters?

As for Bott and Ketchner, they were both on the Dodgers on Opening Day. I see you have Cabrera on Seattle as of Opening Day, so I figured it would logical to have Ketchner and Bott on the Dodgers. Also, the reason why I feel a player should be listed as a starter if he is projected as a starter is because he can always become a reliever with good endurance once he gets to the majors. However, with MR endurance, he may not be able to pitch more than 3 or 4 innings per start.

Has anyone found John Stephens on this roster set?
I was trying to update the rosters, and I couldn't find him to place on the Red Sox.
