ammy draft issue?
the ammy draft lets you divide the pool between college and high school players, which is great. What I find to be a little bit of a problem is that about 20-30 of the so-called 'high school' players are 20, and quite a few more are 19. By those ages, most kids have moved on to the collegiate level.
And even in those instances where you have kids who've been held back, generally there are rules restricting the age of competitors at the high school level.
Now, I don't have much of a problem with there BEING 19/20 year old kids at that level, as I suppose it could happen...but you're probably not going to see too many 4 and 5 star prospects there, at least in the real world.
If they've got that level of talent, wouldn't they already have been drafted when they turned 18?
