:)... Show me the money... :)

I didn't see this in there, but did the patch fix the difficulty involved in trading cash and then getting the cash?

Is this supposed to say the scout is MORE likely to make a mistake on a younger player? If so, it would be nice if it applied to leagues where scouting was off as well. A little more uncertainty on how younger players project is a good feature, IMO.

Another question. Does this also apply to players in the draft if scouting is on?

Otherwise, thanks Markus for the extremely quick patch and answering our questions! Keep up the good work!

I'm speechless! I simply can't not believe that anyone in the software industry could (or would) respond this quickly!

I can I pre-order OOTP7 today? Please, please ... I wanna send my money in now!

Markus, thank you. Haven't tried to play after the download but thanks anyways.

Yes, i was wondering about the Cash issue--if you give or trade cash, will it appear in you Cash Statement in the Front Office screen? If it's not, i won't complain, just wondering so i will use or not when trading.

Ya, I assumed he meant more likely to make a mistake as otherwise it's rather contradictory.

Marcus:

Thanks for the extremely quick release of the first patch! The new home field advantage is a nice touch.

Like many others I am looking forward to the H-2-H feature, hope you can get some rest and then get that out, I believe this will be an exciting feature.

Sorry to rain on the parade but I have one question:

When will HRA be displayed in career stats?

Some bugs are fixed - does that mean the problem with the 50+ inning games has been corrected.

Since I am so anti "Dippy" I am waiting until the above is fixed before buying.I will then learn to live withh "Dippy"

Am I missing something? I've simmed several seasons thus far and have yet to see a single 50+ inning game. The longest game I've recorded was 18.1 innings, which seems entirely plausible to me.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

There was even a post at FOF about a 200+ inning game.

It was estimated such a thing would take about 3 days in reality.

I know when I mentioned it a few days ago Henry said it had to be a small glitch in the engine. Before I get zapped - Henry said something like that.

I have downloaded the patch twice and on both occassions when I tried to extract the files I get the following - Compressed (zipped) folder error: No Files to extract....each download took a good half hour to do on my office dial up so I presume I was downloading the files....any ideas what happened in both instances?

Results of the Rule 5 draft can now be seen in the League News log, and the drafted players now have notes in their histories.

And Tim, you don't even have OOTP6 yet, do you?
no . Planning on getting it soon though. Finals are coming up and Geology isn't looking to hot - gotta study for that one. Then I'm going to buy Modern Relic's CD too. Just love his stuff. OOTP5 is so great in my book that I can live with it for awhile. I'm thinking Mid-May when I finally break down and buy OOTP6. Looking forward to it though.
