53 Inning Game?!!!!

Holy Crap. I just was looking though my Almanac in the fourth season of my league (default rules, just use the real names)

Ok, I'm looking at the box score (6/28/06) and I want to post it for your edification because it's INSANE. How can I do that?

Some "highlights"

Game Time: 16:17 (16 HOURS!!)

Montreal AB R H RBI BB K
Totals 175 7 19 7 9 62

San Francisco AB R H RBI BB K
Totals 170 6 13 5 8 90

IP H R ER BB K HR PI PS ERA RECORD
R. Corcoran W 43 3 0 0 1 80 0 553 360 2.78 6-1

FORTY-THREE innings pitched? And 553 pitches thrown? He'd be DEAD!

Oh, and his EIGHTY strikeouts kinda screws my record book in THAT category....

Again, Ho-Ly Shyte.

Reminds me of some those 1800 boxing championships that would last for like 40 rounds or something.

FYI - You can manually edit your K record to eliminate this game.

Ok, so if 3 Ks in a game is a hat-trick, 4 is the golden sombrero...what would SIXTEEN K's in a game be?

AB R H RBI BB K
J. Hammonds LF 20 0 1 0 1 16

Now that's a rough day...

Sorry, but this game is not even close to a record. I just a post in an FOFC message board thread where Jesse Orosco pitched 198 innings in one game and struck out 462 batters.

I remember this happening with V5. Did other games all end up with ridiculously low scores and/or shutouts? It happened once in my league and once in another league I'm in where all of a sudden all the offense just disappears and you have to revert to an old league file. If it's just an isolated game, then... wow.
