Injury Bug?

I have done a quick scan of this forum but didn't find anything about it. I was playing a game and the opposing pitcher got injured. But continued to pitch for the rest of the game. After the game he was placed on the DL by the computer team out for season.........just guessing it is a bug that he wasn't taken out.

Henry,

The injury was 'Herniated Disc Back'. Day-to-day, 70%, 5-6 weeks.

THe text said that the trainer came out and they would have to take him out, and well he stayed in. After the game he was placed on the DL. Hope that helps some.

This happened to me also...except it was my own team. My pitcher was injured, my trainor went out to check on him and said he had to come out. Yet the game continued on, it did not take you over to the roster screen and force you to take the player out. I noted that he was continueing at only a 90% rating...so I left him in and he continued to pitch pretty well.

I think in OOTP5, if a player was injured....even if it was a "day-to-day" type injury...the manager was required to take out the player. Now I think you have the option to leave him in if he is able to still play.

Well even if that is the case in OOTP6, it would be a bug that the trainer came out and "he will have to be taken out of the game!" Otherwise the feature of letting them stay in the game is just fine by me.

Not really....the you as manager...with the players input (his performance percentage in the status screen) can always veto the trainor's suggestions...and leave him in....
