Do you guys think the Timberwolves will make it past the first round this year now that they are actually in a higher seed (possibly the number 1 seed)?

I'm having a hard time thinking that somehow San Antonio won't rise to the occasion. I voted make it past 1st round, I don't know about after that. This years WC is gonna be insane, so hard to predict.

With Garnett and Carmelo being my favorite players, its unfortunate that they'll face off in the 1st round. I don't see Denver winning in the 1st round and if they do, more attention will be drawn towards Garnett not being able to get out of the 1st round.

Considering that the make-up of the team is enormously different from their past playoff teams, I think they'll go far into the playoffs. Possibly an NBA title.

Personally I think the Timberwolves will lose to Memphis on wendsday and will end up being a 3 seed in which they will have to take on Dallas and they split the season series with them and I just think that Dallas has too much talent to lose to Minnesota even if Minnesota has the home court

Dont matter if they make it past the 1st round cause a East Team will win. (ie: nets get revenge on lakers)

If any Eastern Confernce team will win, I think it would be the Pacers.

Yep, plus they won't be facing the teams throughout like the WC teams will be doing the whole entire playoffs.
