With the impending release of OOTP6, there has never been a better time to join the premiere OOTP5 league, the ACL.

This long-running league of broken-down old men has just begun it's 14th season of 3 times a week, 1 week at a time sims. This will be our final season using OOTP5, just as once upon a time we were in our final season using OOTP2, OOTP3, and OOTP4.

The Minnesota Twins, a fine yet feeble franchise are yours for the asking. They are both a challenge, and dare I say, not a challenge.

This league is no fun, has virtually no participation, and whatever comments are made by the commissioner are either insulting or tasteless or offensive. If you are lucky, they are all three at once.

Please check out the website and if you feel you have the right stuff to take on the challenge, or dare I say, to take on yet not take on the challenge, then please contact the commissioner (link on league site).

But can you think of a better player sim than the World Baseball League? It started at 2003 and is now in 2011. I know that a lot of owner leagues last that long if not longer, but what about good player sim leagues? They are hard to come by.

TheWBL I think I want to be in your league... can you please post how great your league is in 30 other top notch OOTP league threads, just so I can be sure that yours is, in fact, the best. (I figure if you say it 30 times it must be true).

PS- Big props to Mking for avoiding this kid, it must have been hard

Our esteemed commissioner, in addition to being omnipotent, also sees and knows everything. Therefore, he was able to use a contraption commonly referred to as "e-mail" to contact the first person he divined was thinking about joining the league. Several of these "e-mails" later we have a new, dare I say illustrious, Twins owner.
