Live Sims

When you conduct a live sim do you;

a) Conduct the entire sim (ex. Sim all 7 days) and then read off the results

b) Sim one day at a time, reading of the results after each day.

It doesn't make a difference, I'm just curious.

You sim one day at a time, you can report pitching mathcups of key series and also note any hitters doing amazing things as you go. It's more "live" to do it that way.

In the USBA, we usually only do live sims for playoff games.
I will often sim the whole game but then report the game as if it is ongoing to create some suspense and excitement.

I've been in other leagues that do live sims for a whole weeks worth of games but it seems like most people are barely paying attention to the rolling scores.

I think it would good if the Commissioner polled those in his league who plan to show up and find out what they'd like to see.

IN the ULB/POTD/ATD The sims goes as follows:

Day 1 BOS over NYY 8-0 etc etc and if there is a Shut Out , no hitter or anything that is a big story in the game, He's says...

Thats just how he does it and it works very well
