I must have missed that memo. Since when did showing your ignorance and lack of education get equated with being cool. Sure is different from the cool I remember.

Realy I was gona post about this spelling earlier but I had a sim to do. Its not a big supprise to me as many in the past resort to the YOU CANT SPELL attack when they run out of things to say. My points still stand to copy write and the other things I brought up so lets all jump on the guy for bad spelling.

YUP you got me I am a bad speller, and I tend to type faster than I think and probibly to lasy to go back and fix it before I post...guilty as charged. Barly got a D in spelling in school but got A's in math. I also never threated to kick anyones arse ( purposly mispellled ).

I also can garentee you NOT ONE of the TCBL owners will quit once they read this thread, 90% of them were INVITED to the league and know me so SOOOORRRYYY TCBL isnt going anywhere and neither am I. for those that are interested I am....

40 year old
Live in the suburbs of Detroit Michigan...real name Craig Hayes
Married 19 years with 4 kids
Former Sierra forum Sysop and commish of countless FBPRO-BBPRO leagues
VERY bad speller
not that great at grafics and websites so I usally get help
Not PC and has never voted
Loves Rock and Roll
and I am 100% Hillbilly

Anything else I can let you know before you guys keep making assumpions about me?? nothing to hide here

and dont you fret your little skirks over TCBL membership I am a big boy and can handle that thank you very much.

Now I have to run and drink a few

than later take care of the wife

lol I'm sorry but I have to chime in...

I've never met a 40 year old who has the screen name of "KidRock" and the AIM handle including the words "bgdawg".

Wondered how long it would take to get the expected standard response.

I can't understand why you just won't acknowledge his work. Several leagues mimic the MLB; asking one to remove their stuff, basically out of spite, makes you look like you belong in the same group as Fit Dog, JBlaze/Tusso, and others who have been deemed as commissioners of leagues unworthy of the OOTP Online Community.

I guarantee that people on this forum don't forget this kind of stuff, and some will bring it up every time you try to get owners.

You're trying to hold to a principle that doesn't even apply to you. Someone ELSE gave you the logo, and the person who created that logo called THEM on it, through you. So why are YOU the one who's taking it so personally?

If you ARE 40, then act like it. Do the right thing, and give the man his credit. He obviously is proud of his work; he worked on hard on it, and deserves his due.

And, if you're wondering if you think you'll stick out like a sore thumb for doing this, look at the bottom of my ABL site. I give credit where it's due, and I will do that when my AFL site is made.

I think its hilarious that everyone throws age, spelling, and various other things around as proof of intelligence or maturity, on both sides of this argument.

That being said, I've known Craig for years both online and personally, back in the days of the SSBL (Sierra Sandlot Baseball League), and yes, he's never been able to spell, and yes, he's always had a way of getting really excited over things. Like this. I've also known him to run great leagues. I put together that site, and used the graphics passed to me by him, so if anyone wants to rail on anyone, I’m your target. Honestly, do I care that the logo if from someone else? Yes and no. Yes, because I like things professional, but also no, because I KNOW I’ve seen that base image of the shoeless guy somewhere else, in its original form, and it WASN’T at the HH TCBL league so I don’t really think they have the original claim on the pic its all based off of anyway. This is all moot, because as suggested by myself, the TCBL is running a logo design contest to replace this graphic. As soon as that is completed, “your” image will be removed and the new one will be in its place. So, we can stop this mindless war of words by people who all hide behind screen names (myself included) and rarely even know anyone else on a “real” level.

EDIT: I'm going to try my best to keep this reasonably civil. If you're trying to sound threatening, your failing miserably. I can assure you, nobody here is threatened. Amused? Perhaps. But definitely not threatened.

I will say this for you, though. If you're trying to join the ranks of Rockze, Jblaze, etc...you're off to a very good start.

Keep up the good work!

This is the solution, there needs to be nothing more said about this. If there is further problems, take it somewhere else please.
