Help - MSVCRT.dll error

I'm trying to create a Historical League. I've updated to 4.0 c. I've downloaded the Lahman database 4.5. I read the Manual. I read the FAQ. I followed all of the instructions. It starts creating the league. It gets to the point where all the players are being imported an you can see the player names and ID's start to count down and everytime it gets to about the 5th or 6th name BOOM error message, OOTP 4 has caused an error in MSVCRT.dll. Than another error message MFC42.dll and crash to the desk top. Any help would be appreciated. I've gone to the Microsoft site and the mumbo jumbo doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks for the reply Steve... I tried that and it pointed me to the Microsoft site. That's where I run into trouble because I don't understand exactly what is happening or the verbage used. I was hoping somebody experienced a similar problem and had the fix. Thanks for replying though. - Matt
