Password Override??

I've already posted about the plight of CMJK League, our commissioner abandoned us, now we've found a new commissioner and want to continue with the league file-- but the old commish won't answer any emails, so we don't have the league password! Is there anyway to override the password??

Email Markus about this. We had the same problem in another league called 4ever Baseball. The guy running the league was a nut job and bolted because he thought OOTP should listen to all of his demands and redesign the game. Anyway, Markus hacked the file and sent us the password so everyone could play the file as a solo league.

As Treedom said, there's a way to do it without having to bother markus, but it's information that should really be kept to as few people as possible.

Well if you aren't going to tell me, can I email the league file to somebody and they can respond with the password?

If you and Treedom are not going to help this guy then why bother even posting here? No one is impressed by you implying that you can hack the password. Either help the guy or go back to Off Topic with the rest of the Trolls.

I think they were saying that there is a way you can do it, but asking for it on these boards is never going to yield an answer because no-one wants to put the info into the public domain i.e. email one of the above, Markus etc.

I hardly think Crackpott and Treedom could be classified as trolls.

What do you want? Do you want them posting it so that every schmo can hack their league files?

There's a reason why that password is there.

Troll? 90% of your posts are abusive to someone in some way. You're the troll, sweetheart.

sadangelclown, I would strongly recommend you e-mail Markus and ask him to help you.

Does you guys defending us Torontonians mean we're not trolls? Damn.

For what it's worth... you're right. Potatoman has a similar problem, and PMed me. I told him to get his league's support to restart the league with him as commish, and I'd tell him how to do it. He had them post on the message board, and when I see him online I'll give him instructions. It's simply common sense not to publicly post information like this when in the wrong hands it can be terrible for leagues.

I've always wondered what would happen to a league if a commish mysteriously disappeared. Sweet.
