Help with logos for my fictional league - Page 2

thought I'd try my hands at the hawks

The only Explorers that I can think of are the Sioux City Explorers of the Northern League. Using a couple of their logos, I have come up with these two ideas:

Insomniac, that one based on Sioux City is great...flawless...perfect.

Sandstorm, yours is excellent, too.

I liked the placement of Iowa...nice idea.

PrestonKaye, yours is nice. IMHO the yellow on white lettering doesn't show as well as it might. Black lettering trimmed in Yellow may make it easier to see...or Yellow lettering trimmed in Black.

Just a suggestion.

All are well done.

dbacks: The Phoenix Phantoms is outstanding. I like the way you used the black background strip at the top and bottom. It added a nice variety.

Eugene, thank you very much for the compliment, but I am very far from being a star, to mention me in the same breath as dbacks is just not right, I'm just a person with too much time on my hands.

Preston I like your logo very much I like that font alot, I am no good at finding a font that I like.

if you cant find a shark logo you can always just use the NHL team's logo

sandstorm, I really liked the way you fit the lettering for Iowa in between the wings, nice touch. Insomniac, that was some good work on the explorers logo, I think I'm going to go with the first one, but I really liked them both. And dbacks, that Phantoms logo is first class!

Preston, I really like that Flyers logo you found, hopefully someone could add in 'carolina' to it, and then I just need a roadrunners logo for Albuquerque, and a name change on that Sharks logo and I'm good to go!

You are really helping to bring my league together, it's amazing how much logos, and stadiums bring life to a league. I hope to post updates on the dynasty reports board, and hope to have some time to put together a website as well. I'll drop you all a link so you can check it out and see your hard work in action.

Of course with my wife due to go in labor any day now, I may not have time for any of that for a while!!

I like the font used for Carolina. I dont know how to tilt the font to fit perfect above Flyers so i let someone else do it
