Hi ctorg and welcome to the league, after I randomly generate your player card, you can start negotiating a contract with any of the 8 teams. And since today is opening day, you can bypass the 24 hour waiting period and sign with a team as soon as you want. All sims take place at midnight pacific.

There are 6 teams in this league with an expansion planned for next season. We are currently 60+ games into our 3rd season. A full season consists of 162 games of regular season and 12 preseason games. The top 2 overall teams will play out a best-of-5 series in a live sim. The managers actually get to play out the games live.

I will then follow up with your player card. After I post your player card, you will be allowed to start finding/negotiating for a job with any of the 6 teams. Keep in mind that the league is rather full right now with a lot of competition. However there will be one expansion team next season so don't worry too much if you don't get signed right away. You also have the choice of signing with an agent, who will help you to find the best deal possible: they are listed here: http://cuss.proboards20.com/index.cg...num=1065919815

You don't really have any control over your player's rating at this point since all ratings will be randomly generated, however you will have control of how you want to "play" your player: http://cuss.proboards20.com/index.cg...num=1059509044 Simply post up your tendencies if you want something other than 5 (average).
