waivers, DIPS explanations needed

Will someone help shed light on the waiver system?
I also have no idea what the DIPS theory is
Can someone enlighten me?

Have a look at the DIPS explanation on this page (there's another thread) or the next one- there's a fairly comprehensive one. As for waivers, I think we have to wait to see exactly what Markus has implemented.
