importing real rookies in solo league

Im in year 1918 of my solo league. Bringing in real rookies and going thru a draft every year. I have noticed that as of 1918 ammy draft. Babe Ruth has not come in yet. He is in as a Starting Pitcher, tho. I am using lahmans 5.1 db. Will he come in as a hitter also and there be 2 Babe Ruths? How do i change him to be a hitter? Anything else i should do?

He will not import twice if you are using Lahman's DB. I believe all of Ankit's Modified DBs have him in there as a pitcher and a hitter.

If you want him to be a hitter, turn on the editor and change his position.

where the crap is the editor? Is it the one under the persons name on the players page? Or is there a universal editor?

Oh, since i have been using lahmans db, can i download ankits over it and start using it now?

On the player card in the top right corner you see the option to turn the editor on or off. Once you turn it on, you can click his position to change it.

You can switch to Akit's but it might mess you up some. He had moved some debut years and things like that so you might end up with dupes.

It is best to use his from the start.
