Like I really want to post this.

The ACL is looking for an owner to take over the Pittsburgh Pirate franchise.

The league sims 3 times a week, 7 days a sim. It is currently the end of August in the league's 13th season. We have been around a while.

It is an all-star type, historical type, fictional type league with the emphasis on all-star historical.

I have no idea what the age of the average owner is in this league, but I would guess it is over 30. Possibly 35. More than 27 I would think. However, that doesn't matter.

No experience in online leagues is required to partake, only ownership of the game. I don't care if you are new or experienced, as we believe in democracy. At least, that is what I've decided we believe in.

We will move to V6 when it is released and we are beginning a new season.

If you believe that Doris Day begat the Olsen twins, then this is the league for you. If you don't believe the Olsen twins are too cool to be true, then this might not be a welcome place for you.

I hate posting for new ownership, but my misfortune could be your fortune. Check out the league and email the commish if you want to c'mon along. There is a link on the site.

An opening in this league? That is amazing! I love this league.

I may just quit this league just so I can have the thrill of rejoining it. This league changed my life.

I used to spend hour upon hour just doing nothing. I was in other leagues that provided no personal satisfaction. I was in a deep funk, seriously underweight both mentally and physically.

Then I found the ACL and my life was changed. I was mentally challenged and physically stimulated. The ACL helped me work out both my mind and my body.

Where I had no friends, now I had friends.
Where I had lots of enemies, now I had even more.
Where I had no personal life in the real world, I still had no personal life in the real world.

But I had the challenge, the thrill, and the excitement of the ACL!

I heartily recommend and endorse this league. I encourage any and all of you who are pitiful to step into the light of true OOTP competition. Don't be a loser anymore. Join me and the many others who have found life, salvation, and true baseball simulation happiness thru the ACL!

My mother always said, "When it rains, it pours". Never made any sense to me but I guess she was right as always.

No sooner do I post, then another team becomes available. The St. Louis Cardinals are now there for the taking. And I'm sorry that they don't rate a post of their own, just some shabby tack-on to the Pirate opening. (They weren't in the league long enough to rate their own post).

It's strange how you get a core of good owners, but there are a couple of teams that just can't seem to hold people. It is one of the mysteries of life.

I'm tired, I'm going to sleep, you all know the drill. If you are interested in joining, keep it to yourself. If you volunteer, you just may be accepted.

Thanks to my good friend Mr. B. Lee, the Cardinals are taken by an upstanding citizen. (Okay, he's probably a loser like the rest of us, but beggars can't be choosers).

The Pirates are still available. Don't delay. This league comes highly recommended regardless of your party affiliation.
