Post Import all team files from FTP?! not working

Currently a commissioner and am going to use the FTP options in the game. However I have run some test runs. I have exported an individual team file to the ftp server and it worked. However when I go to online league setup and click on import all teams from ftp server it says it's importing and looks like it works but no changes are made. However if I go to the individual team and click on import team from ftp server under the setup option it will work. I don't want to have to go through all 30 teams to import rosters and was wondering if I was doing anything wrong. Any help would be great, thanks!

Do you have the ftp addy, password(if there is one), etc all adjusted to the proper settings for your league in the online league area?

Yeah, I can export the team files just fine. I have no problems at all. But when I go to online league set up and click on import teams from ftp it says loading teams and shows the bar going all the way. But when its done and I go the team nothing changes. But if I click on the individual team and click on import team from ftp it works just fine. Do I need to have all the teams on the server, do i need to have them in a folder of some sorts to get all of them? I can't for the life of me figure out why importing them one way works but the other way won't.

I have a "lineups" folder created and thats where they all go in my leagues.

One other thing I can't figure out--
You are just testing and thusly only using the league file on your cpu. If you make changes, export, and then import, there wouldnt be any changed showing up because you already made them just before you exported. Not sure how you are testing this. Unless you made MORE changes AFTER you exported so that it would be different from the incoming lineup, I'm not sure how you'd ever see any changes this way.

Yeah I made more changes after exporting to see if it worked. When I do it should it be putting a team20.exp in my expimp folder or not? I just can't figure out for the life of me why it won't work one way but will the other.

Is there a way you could give me a step by step way of doing this? It would be much appreciated and maybe I can see what I'm doing different and fix it.

Probably best if you had another person to test it with. Send them you league file ask them to make changes(make sure that you have the league FTP info entered in the online league area first). Then get them to upload the files and you import them.

I have the same problem... I hit import all teams from ftp server and it shows the status bar moving along and then finishes like everything went fine. Then I do my sim and get ready fro the next sim in a few days.... then I always get one or two emails that their changes didn't go into effect. If I go individually and manually import every team, I never get the problem. I know it is happening because I went back and imported all and then went to the one team that week that had the problem and his changes didn't take effect even though other's did. Then I manually imported from his team set up page and the changes took effect.

Also, I delete the team files after every SIM now to make sure there is no problem with the next batch of team files coming in.

Any ideas would be great because I really dont want to continue manually importing the team files.

The league I am commish of is below and feel free to download the league file to check settings and what not.

Thanks.

Jim

suggest that your owners with the problem delete their league directory folder, redownload the league file, and export again. my exports weren't getting processed in my online league and after the commish made the above suggestion all was well.
