What regional titles do you have?
I am going to add regional titles to my fictional universe. I was wondering how you guys, break up your regions.
In other words what do you call your regional titles and which countries are in which region. Sorry, geography is not my strong suit! |

In my league I only have the big 6 divisions and only one champion . My bias is that this is the way boxing should be.

I have 5 regional titles
NABF - USA and Canada EBU - Europe LABA - Latin America POBF - Pacific/Oriental ie Aus,NZ+Asia ABF -African continent I intend to use these as a world title(of which I only have one) eliminator on a rotational basis. ie one defence against top rated, followed by one defence against a regional champ, then a defence against a top ten rated opponent. At some stage I might create a British belt, but that is just a location bias |

I'd like to create regional titles, but how will the rankings differ? Do all the created organizations carry the same ranking formula?
I'm also planning on dropping ALL the sanctioning bodies except my own. Any advice? |

In my universe with most all of the fighters from the British commonwealth nations and North America I have the European title and the North American Title.
I actually use the IBF to rank the European fighters and the WBA to rank the North American, with my own santioning body (HBA) to determine the World rankings. This adds some variety to the rankings. |

Lee, how exactly does that work? Do you segregate your fighters into these groups? I don't see how else you could do it under the present circumstances.

I have found the following to be true in regards to Titles & Rankings:
1. The existing names cannot be changed without receiving an error message? 2. All custom created organizations will follow the IBO rankings? 3. Titles are not available for custom organizations? Can someone verify this and please explain how to get around these issues if at all possible? Thanks. |

What I did was go into the "groups" page and first create the new group or region or organization. Then I went into the "fighters" page and moved them to the new group. Then I deleted the groups that I did not want. I had no problem doing it this way. 2. All custom created organizations will follow the IBO rankings? Not sure about this. 3. Titles are not available for custom organizations? You have to first go to the "titles" page and create the title that you want. When you prepare to fight, make sure that you open the "title fight" tab at the top and click on the title that you want to fight for. After you have a winner, you can go to the "titles" page and click on the title and the weight class and it will show you your champion and the rankings under him. |

couriers I have certainly had a Title Fight for a created title and I believe that all created titles follow the IBO ranking methodology (i.e. uses the fighters performance points total).
I'm not sure about changing the names of the IBF/WBA etc. I have never tried it. Mark |
