Post Best Stadium set?

What do you find to be the best stadium set available for modern play? I'm leaning toward the High Heat set, simply for consistency; all the images are sharp, and I'm assuming the coordinates for each ballpark are consistent, keeping players in their proper positions.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this as well as historical ballparks.

What do you think?
Thanks,
Steve

Cool

Most of the options are either hosted at BCB below or linked. I don't think it's a matter of "which is best" as much as what your looking for

I've checked your site and it's superb, but I was hoping to get some input from those who have tried different sets.

Maybe, as you say, it's simply a matter of taste, but if there's one that stands out from the rest, that's what I'm after. If not, I'll chug along and continue my search.

Thanks,
Steve

I like both sets. The new HH ones do NOT have the fielders set up, unless it's been updated, so you have to do that manually. (I was so frustrated, I reloaded some different stadiums). I don't know why I can't work that stadium editor?

Hopefully Markus can do a 'drag and drop' feature to move the fielders/runners around the screen.

Well if you are looking for real pics of the real stadiums then I would go with the set I created. Almost all of the pictures are from behind home plate, and very god quality. You can find them at www.bigcitybaseball.com www.ootpworld.com and www.baseballsimcentral.com. Baseballsimcentral is only site to store them in bmp format, and all 3 have them in jpg format. The jpg format ones will need to be converted after download and you will loose a little bit of quality during the conversion.

If you perfer all stadiums to be uniform and computer rendered then go with the set created from HH baseball.

Todd,
What do you mean by "not having the fielders set up?" You said I have to do that manually. Forgive my ignorance.

Do you like the High Heat stadiums or are they buggy?
Thanks,
Steve

The stadiums are NOT buggy..I chose NOT to set up the coordinates of the fielders for the simple reason that to set the fielders where they "technically" should go would cover alot of the detail in the stadium pics. I left the changing of the coordinates up to the person downloading for this specific reason. I believed at the time I made these stadiums that the stadium editor in V.4 was easier to use than in V.3 and that anyone who wanted to could change these coordinates with ease. I , myself chose to leave the fielders where they were. I lost no stadium detail that way, and it took me about 4 minutes to get used to where fielders are located. I guess it's different strokes for different folks. But...The ability to change them is there..No bugs.

Definitly no bugs, what I meant was you will need to adjust the fielders/runners on the screen to match up with the stadiums and since they are all from the same vantage point, you can just change one and apply to the rest of the stadiums.

I just have a hard of time of doing this, but that's me.

Excellent work though, I like the HH stadiums.

Thanks,

Todd
