Lahman database.

I saw that they said they were updated, but I haven't checked it out yet... I have two questions about it. A) Does it have the 2003 stats into the database, and B) Are there any prospects at all in the database? Thanks.

I'd check this myself, but the computer I have access to now doesn't have OOTP on it. Thanks again.

2003 stats yes, don't know about prospects, don't believe so

I'm pretty sure anyone who played at the Major league level last year is in the database. So unless the prospect actually played in the majors, he wont be in it.

I would use Ankit's modified database- it comes with prospects, and is generally better...

Is there an Ankit version of the latest Lahman (2003 stats)? I had downloaded the one for 2002, but didn't see one for 2003.

No, there isn't an Ankit version that includes the 2003 stats. Also, I am not going to update my DB for now because I don't feel the new database has been sufficiently improved with more stats, better accuracy and such to the point where it justifies me spending an enormous amount of time to do it. If anything, the next update will probably be when the next version of the DB comes out.
