Post Age Problem for over 40 players

It seems the game doesn't recogonize the birthdays for over forty players, unless you hand edit them. The game has correct birthdays but it show a much younger age. I thought it might have just been in Rolens, but it is in the roster that came with the game too. A minor bug, but it will allow Julio Franco to play till he's 60! Not that he is far from that now.

Is this occuring for players who start the game 40 or over, or any player who is thereafter created by the game and happens to play until they reach the age of 40? In other words, if every player who reaches 40 suddenly becomes 25-30 again, then there are a number of players who could theoretically play forever. This is obviously a bug, but hopefully it is just limited to the 40 and over players the game starts with, and doesn't continue. Otherwise, a patch for this problem alone will be needed immediately.

I haven't simmed enough seasons to know. It most likely only affects those over fourty at the start of the game. There is also a possability that the age is corrected when that player hits a birthday, when the computer would have to age the player. Juist pointing it out for the Beta testers to check out.

A bit of good news on this front. The ages seem to correct themselves at the start of the second season, so thankfully this is not a gamebreaker.

On an unrelated note....I had a HUGE bug in my first season. The Red Sox beat the Mets in the World Series. This after beating the Yankees. I mean come on.

I believe that if you go to the League Setup screen before starting the first season and hit reset league this should take care of it. I am not sure as I have not tried it yet myself but if someone could please do that and post the results. I will make sure that for all subsequent releases of my roster files that this is fixed.
