What's the best history database?
I'm trying to find one of the historic databases, the ones that allow you to play any season, but I'm not sure which one is the best (has the least amount of errors needed to correct, such as positions, duplicate players, etc.). Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I use Ankit's career avg. database after I import the initial year from his "normal" database. Started in 1921, simmed up to 1950, now i'm playing out the games from there. To give you an idea of some leaders:
Hits: Cobb 3860 HR: Ruth 538 Wins: J. Stuart (STL) who had a really unbelieveable career 438 with 4360 K's and a liftime ERA of 2.55. I like having a record book (and i imported Joe Jackson in 1921 to reinstate him after a year ban, he had 2903 hits and a lifetime avg of .358 which ranks 4th all time). |

Historical Expansion
Does Ankits DB make it easy to deal with historical expansion?
Thanks. Last edited by brooklynbums; 02-17-2004 at 01:07 PM. |
