1.2 Scoring Problem

I think we all would acknowledge that it is possible for a fighter to beat up another badly enough to win a round 10-8 without a knockdown.

Since upgrading to 1.2, I have not had ONE round scored 10-8 without a knockdown. I have at least 15 instances of rounds being won by 20+ points without a KD, and not ONE judge has scored any of these rounds 10-8. All 10-9.

Is there a fix for this on the horizon?

I have fought about six fights with the patch, and I've had two 10-8 rounds with no knockdowns scored in either... it may just depend on the judge.

I have also seen several 10-8 rounds with no knockdowns. As far as I can tell there seems to be a nice mix of these types of rounds compared to the overall number of rounds that I have simulated.

I actually just had my first 10-6 round on one judge's card (2 KD's & total domination). The other 2 had it a more conventional 10-7. I, too, have noticed a much better mix of scoring since the patch.

I'll also chime in and say that in my opinion scoring seems to be v ery good since the 1.2 patch. I've seen several rounds scored 10-8 with no knockdowns involved. Like Couriers said, the mix seems to be about right.

I have seen 10-8 with no knockdown.
I have seen 10-7 with 1 knockdown.
I have seen 10-6 with 2 knockdowns.
And I have seen the usual too.

I've seen fire and I've seen rain,
I've seen fights drag on that I thought would never end,
I've seen fighters pounded so badly I thought they would never mend,
But I've seen all kinds of judges scoring combinations time and time again.
